We were contacted by Oxford Analytical after they saw one of our vans driving past. They had carried out a fire risk assessment and had identified that they were in need of installing a fire alarm system and some additional emergency lights. During our site survey, we were asked if the fire alarm system could turn off some of the test equipment. We managed to do this by using a Hochiki mains switching relay. The client also decided that it would be beneficial for the system to be monitored due to some of the high risks that they had identified. After a week of careful planning and hard work, MCFP installation team had completed the installation of a category L3 Fire alarm system; the system was then put onto a 1-week soak test before the final connection to Alarm Receiving Centre for the systems monitoring.
